    “CHRISTMAS 2016”

    Merry Christmas Branson

    FRIENDS,

Debbie and I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and most prospers New Year. This Christmas is especially special for us. We have so much to be thankful for, Dec. 26th Debbie and I celebrate our 6 year anniversary, last Oct. we celebrated our 6 year anniversary as a church family, and hopefully we will be moving into our new church building soon. The Lord has truly been good to us! Because of so many unexpected expenses we have altered our plans to add 3000 sq. ft. which we desperately need, but hopefully by early summer we will be able to continue with phase two. As you can see we have been extremely busy. We are bringing everything to meet city codes and hopefully we will move in soon and work around the unfinished projects. Saving monthly rent payments at our present location will help tremendously!

    OPENING UP THE SANCTUARY

Sancutary BeforeWe have opened up the sanctuary and are excited about how nice it’s turning out.  Gwen our project manager has done an excellent job. On the scaffolds are Billy Geisler and Scott Melton. We are witnessing an amazing thing take place as many are volunteering and coming together for common vision. We are becoming a real church family each person is taking ownership of “their” church and excited about the future outreach ministries that God seems to be birthing from our new location and the land that we have

    Pastors Breakfast & Fellowship

Pastor Raymond Glass and The Recovery Church sponsored our second pastors’ breakfast! Our purpose is to get better acquainted and share the visions we each have for our churches in ministering to the community! In Eph. 4, Paul encouraged us to endeavor to keep the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace…until we all come to the unity of the faith. That speaks volumes to me of God’s concern for a unified church family. We had another great time as we each shared what the Lord has put on our hearts for uniting and ministering to the  community–especially considering how the enemy is attempting to divide America–a kingdom divided will fall! We plan this to be a monthly event-next one will be Jan 2017. The Diann & Gwen did an excellent job decorate, preparing and serving the food.

Last month Steve Eden along with the Grace Church prayer team came blessing & praying & speaking prophetic words of encouragements over our kingdom work & the new church. Every time they come down, the prophetic words they’ve spoken have come to pass. We are grateful to our Lord for this kingdom connection

    Precious Day For ME

    baby Owne dedication

In Oct. we dedicated a very special baby to our Lord. Baby Owen, son of Kristy and Jake Sessuem. It’s always very emotional for me to be able to dedicate a baby to our Lord and speak prophetic blessings over them! I could do this everyday for the rest of my life. It always amazes me how focused  andattentive these babies are. They recognize the spirit of Jesus. John leaped–these babies get excited. I can’t remember one every crying or feelinguncomfortable. It’s a Spiritual thing–don’t you think?

Last week we celebrated my beautiful wife’s sixty fifth birthday. All the kids and grand kids where able to be with her. When God called Debbie to move to Duncan, marry me, and birth a church with a 6 time felon who had been released from prison 1 ½ years prior. She left financial security, and home payed for, her church of 55 years, her family which is very precious to her, and four precious grand-children, which means the world to her. So our time with them is very special, but especially for her. Grand kids are a blast and we have a great time with them!

I’m especially grateful to God for my wife. God has used her to mature me, make me a better man, pastor, and I am now a great husband—her words. I’m the broke in model! I’m so thankful she was obedient to our Lord–I realize it was a very hard decision, but God has honored her tremendously for it, and I’ve reaped many blessings myself, but most importantly God has used us in this most needed kingdom work in a tremendous way! We are so thankful for the many of you who have been supportive of this work, and for believing in the vision God has placed in our heart for our sphere of influence

Thanksgiving 2016 is very special for us! Although we have lots of work to do before we can officially move into our new church, we did manage to have our thanksgiving dinner in the under-construction fellowship hall. The kids absolutely love it–it’s sort of located in the country. They love singing around the bon-fires roasting marsh mellows & devouring s’mores. We are so very thankful to everyone who has partnered with us through the years, making this possible, and we are especially thankful for our church family–those who have stuck with us through thick and thin! We are excited about the future and looking forward to what God has in store for 2017!

Stephens County Jail & Prison Ministry: Debbie’s jails ministry is going great, we are looking forward to resuming our monthly prison ministries once we get things settled down with the building project. We are continuing to build healthy “Life Groups” in our church and it seems the building project has brought us even closer as brothers & sisters of the kingdom!
